The final product is the culmination of months of collaborative work, working closely with our client to identify major customer pain points and addressing them all one by one.
Various elements—such as the revamped screens, improved accessibility and usability of features, and reimaginings of old services—may seem subtle, but they all form a much bigger change in the overall look and feel of the app.
Something that our Visual Designer, Nath*, is all too familiar with. For her, meaningful work is all about gaining knowledge and being able to share that knowledge with others.
“I believe that sharing knowledge is the key to the growth of our team and organization,” Nath says. True to her word, Nath has been instrumental in developing a design system for the app and cascading this knowledge to her team
A design system is a collection of reusable design elements, guidelines, and assets for building and maintaining consistent and user-friendly digital products. It’s more than just a static set of design guidelines, however. It’s an evolving system that adapts to changing customer needs, technology advancements, and design trends.
“Familiarity is vital to user experience. With the new design system, we can produce screens with uniform design components. It helps our team standardize screen production and, at the same time, helps customers navigate the app more easily,” Nath concludes.
It’s amazing how much attention is put on every single screen in this massive project. It’s even more satisfying once you reach the end and see all of it come together to form a bigger, better, more cohesive whole. Everyone has put their heart and soul into this labor of love and, in the end, isn’t that what gives our work meaning?
